A long Table Rock, very close to 3&7/16" by 1&7/16", a full 3/8" max thickness--strong blade. The base has a bit of cortex showing, the surface has a lot of patina (mineralization)--slight wear on the very tip, but that's minor, as the close up shows. What 'types' the piece as a Table Rock, not a Buck Creek, I'm focusing on the stem edge grinding--Table Rocks were noted for being one of the few points from the Late Archaic to use stem grinding. the piece comes from out of the box of artifacts that started in the collection of a local collector who had to have grown up in the Elizabethtown, Kentucky, area--way too much Sonora Flint for that collection to have been found here in S.W. Indiana where he lived & worked. I'll provide the name to the next owner, but that's about all the provenance I can provide. Estates are like that. The piece is lifetime guaranteed real, simply too much patina. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, paypal is not taken--Roy A.
