My caliper reads a wide 1&5/16" (width), opposed to a length of 1&7/8"--once upon a time this was a twice-as-long Big Sandy. All sharpening is Early Archaic-made, it's patinated, it's ancient. The point comes from the Knox County, Kentucky, area. Along the upper blade edges you can see the blue quartz inclusions in the hornstone. The basal edge wasn't heavily ground, but in the notches, below the barbs, there the grinding is 'acceptable'. At the last sharpening the knapper worked to get a needle tip, but it was a struggle due to the thickness at the medial ridge--not a bad job, but it took skill to get what was possible; thick blades are hard to get sharp pointed, it'd seem. The piece is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is part of the price, nothing extra required, with checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed--sorry, paypal is not taken--Roy A.
