Either Jackson or nearby Illinois county, made from one of the best grades of Kaolin Flint you could ask for--nice Dalton. As the blade was sharpened so many times the very Early Archaic Culture knapper switched techniques on the tip--instead of 'conventional' edge (tip) sharpening a twin length-wise flake was remove from each beveled side of the tip--it made for a super-sharp tip and took care of the thickness problem faced when working very near the medial ridge. Nice work, patinated the same as the body of the point--1&7/8" by 1&1/16", with max thickness only 1/4" (near the tip).Basal and lateral edge grinding is outstanding; basal thinning shows channel flakes removed on one face. Every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $5.00, and checks, cash, or M.O.s are welcomed, however I don't use paypal--Roy A.
