DELAWARE CHERT ASHTABULA OHIO
Up for sale is a specimen of a Late Archaic era Ashtabula type point. This one is made from Delaware chert. It is a bit small for the type due to ancienr repetitive resharpening and reuse, but it still displays well and is pretty symmetrical. It measures 1 7/8" long x 7/8" wide. This artifact was recovered from Ohio. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
