Sorting through a box of southern, Kentucky, pieces from quite a few years back, these three darts were bagged together, labeled Logan County. Two are hornstone, one is a chalcedony (1&7/8") where I can't even find a name for the material--reds, greys, well knapped, with serrations along the tip, but not the lower wings. This longer dart isn't basally ground (or dulled)as are the two Kirks. The piece has the characteristics of a Pentagonal Knife--dart form, and that's as close as I've come to classifying the piece. Pentagonals are not exactly the most common of point/ blade forms, especially in southern Kentucky. It, same as the hornstone points, lifetime guaranteed authentic--the patina is there. Shipping is $6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, paypal is not taken--Roy A.
