Extraordinary Dovetail
At nearly 4 inches long, this stout lance point has exquisite edgework all over. The beveling starts about 1 1/4 inches above the base and continues on both sides of the distal edges to the tip.
I see no imperfections in this artifact.
I purchased this artifact at an estate auction in La Porte, Indiana. I'm to assume that was it's approximate provenance.
