Base on this Big Sandy Broad Base is ground, a sure sign it's Early Archaic in origin--sharpened by those 7500BP peoples so that the Indiana Hornstone point is now only 1&5/8" by that wide 1&3/8" base--caliper never reaches even 5/8" max thickness, so the blade, even when first made (and much longer) was a thin knife blade--well made, well patinated, lifetime guaranteed real. The piece comes from the Gibson County, Indiana, Wabash River floodplain. Shipping is $5.00, with checks, cash, and M.O.s welcomed--sorry, paypal is not taken--Roy A.
