This is a fine example of the type. This artifact was purchased by me from an estate sale auction from La Porte, Indiana.
The workmanship and flaking of this artifact are some of the best I've seen. Very symmetrical and balanced.
The exact locality of this find is not known however I have been told that this black flint is more readily available around the Ohio area.
