Up for sale is a specimen of a Paleo era Lanceolate. This is either a Hi Lo or Wheeler type. The artifact is made from a beautiful Coshocton Gray material. It measures 2 1/4" long x 31/32" wide. The base and one lateral edge of the base is lightly ground. The base is slightly constricted and concave in form. The artifact has a thick area / hump on one side as can be seen in the last photo.....I would assume this area was not quite finished. That being said this still displays well overall and is a solid affordable Paleo Artifact. The artifact is out of a collection that was recovered from Lorain, Perry, and Muskingum counties in Ohio. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
