RACCOON CREEK INTRUSIVE MOUND OHIO 4 MILE CREEK CHERT
Up for sale is an Intrusive Mound / Raccoon Creek type point. The artifact is very pentagonal in form and has a heavily ground base. I believe it to be made from 4 mile Creek Chert. It has a tiny tip nick, but still displays well overall. This artifact measures 2 1/16" long x 7/8" wide. The artifact is out of a collection that was recovered from Lorain, Perry, and Muskingum counties in Ohio. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
