Up for sale is an authentic 3.0" long and 1 ¾” wide well-made honey coral Archaic Snap Base Pickwick arrowhead with good color and awesome serrations. I purchased this point from the respected dealer Micah Cartwright who is from Peninsula, Ohio. The 14th Edition of the Official Overstreet Indian Arrowheads Identification and Price Guide, page 575, states that Snapped Base forms include Benton, Buck Creek, Decatur, Kirks and Lost Lake points and date from the Early to Middle Archaeological Periods making this point between 9,500 to 6,000 years old. Pickwick points are between 6,000 to 3,500 years old being used from the Middle to the Late Archaic Archaeological periods.
