I was there (Union or Webster Co.,KY), I saw the piece found-- it wasn't for lack of trying that the guy I was hunting with found the point (instead of me)--sometimes you spot them first, sometimes you're a quarter second too late. The point ended up with me, it's been part of my personal collection for years, and best of all I know--with 100% certainty--it's real. Material is hornstone, a very good grade of hornstone. The Graham Cave is sharpened from a knife into a dart form, only 1&13/16" max length--1" width, 1/4" max thickness--read that as really balanced. The Early Archaic point has the auriculate base with at least one extended corner tip--a Graham Cave characteristic, not-so-much with a Big Sandy auriculate base, that 'tradition' didn't flare-out the basal corner this way. Any questions, please ask. Shipping is $5.00, I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, however I don't use paypal--Roy A.
