This Dickson point is made of an unusual pink heat treated chert with unique veins in it. They are found at Hopewell sites in the Mid-Western States. From the Mid Woodland period it is 1,650 to 2,500 years old! It displays nice flaking, sharp edges and a delicate point. Amazing that the point is still intact.
