This is an unusual Archaic point, 6,500 to 7,500 years old. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Most Jackie points do not show like this specimen. They are from the Ozark's area, first found at the Jackie Shelter in Barry County, MO. Shoulders and stem are well barbed indicating no resharpening.
The material has a striking patina and is made from gray and brown colored chert. Very triangular with a nice sharp point. This is an excellent affordable point to enhance your collection. It is nicer than most of the Jackie Stemmed points in Overstreet!
