Winterset Chert Hopewell Drill
Recovered in Grain Valley, MO in Lafayette County, this drill shows heavy use and made of Winterset chert. It is colorful, well flaked, with mineral deposits. It comes with a Motley COA and I have the shipping.
P.S. - We are back from the Abilene show. I purchased several nice points I will start putting up as soon as they come back with coa's. Sorry, I did not get around to take any photos but will try to do better at the Waxahachie show in a couple weeks. To give you an idea, I have a huge Base Tang and several points out of the Harold E. Butt Collection, owner of the HEB stores. They are all personal finds on his ranch in Kerr County. I also have a couple of nice metal trade points from the High Plains. Give me a few days and they should be back and I will start posting.
