With all due respect to my Texas family members and friends, not everything is larger than life in the Lone Star State. Case in point: this diminutive Shumla basal notch. Likely made from a flake, this super-thin point is wellflaked on one face and mostly smooth below the tip on the other. Lateral edges are lightly serrated and the tip is needle sharp. Deep basal notches fashion barbs that turn inwards toward the narrow, slightly contracting stem. Small in size, yet no shrinking violet by any means!
