A unique example of a Pestle found in Webster County Kentucky. In good condition with no modern damage. Nice style form with good size and ancient use wear. Made with a small mortar towards the end. I've seen this feature rarely on axes and a celt or two but it makes this pestle unique. Piece lays flat with mortar side up. Made of very lightweight Cotton Rock with ancient patina. Measures 6.5" in length by 3.5" wide.
