A fine and very colorful example of a Late Woodland - Mississippian Point found in Hardin County Kentucky. In fine condition, thin and well made with interesting shallow notched base form. I feel this piece belongs in the " Bird Point People " period. I see Hamilton Stemmed and Knight Island influence. Made of semi translucent high quality and colorful Sonora with ancient patina and mineralization. Measures 2.5" in length.
