Found near the Virgin River in Washington County, Utah, Perino typed this as a Colonial Point. He noted that it had alternately beveled cutting edges that may indicate use as a knife as well as an arrowpoint. The orange mixed with translucent agate gives the gemstone a very appealing color combination. I am not familiar with the Colonial point, and suspect that today, it would be called a Rose Springs. The face shows mineral deposits and the lateral edges show use wear. It is a very interesting artifact. I have the shipping and it comes with Perino COA.
