A very high grade example of an Early Archaic Fractured Base Decatur found in Wayne County Ohio. In excellent condition, thin with beautiful workmanship and great form. A classic example with a fractured and ground base and clipped wing style. A flawless example made of a water toned patina chert. Not sure what this material is. It's glossy and high grade, possibly Flint Ridge. Superb example. Measures 2 9/16" x 1 5/8".
