OUTRAGEOUS KILLER LARGE PLATEAU WINGED POINT.
Up for your consideration is this Natural authentic Columbia Plateau Knife or Stone Blade. Found on the banks of the Columbia River, near the present-day Priest Rapids Dam, south of Vantage, WA. (I-90) east. One must drive south on state route 243 between Mattawa, WA. and the Venetia Bridge in South Central Washington State. Who found this artifact is unknown, but it looks like the type of artifact found in the Yagger Island, (Also spelling of Yeager, and Jaggar Island), or the Old Figure Two Ranch, area, and down S.R. 243 to the Columbia River to the Tri-Cities area. The material is Natural Miocene basalt. This type of material is found locally in the Saddle Mountains, only a few miles to the north and to the west and east into Grant Co. Washington State. (For more information email us.) This is a common form of natural basalt, from the Volcanic, Miocene Geological era. Grading on this point is 8.0. No flat spots on either sided, no nicks, dings, or broken parts. Just one nice point of natural basalt.
The Age and type of point by using professional standards is from the Professional classifications of about 200 before present, (BP). Age is about 200 years to 1,200 BP. Classification, is Columbia Plateau Phase II. We offer a certification grading, typology, material, subsistence, and climate type, certificate of Authentic Report. Since, we are professionals with at least one PhD's signature we charge a humble $ 65.00 per report.
