A very fine and thin example of a Uniface Knife found in Warner Valley Oregon. In excellent condition with extremely fine workmanship and very interesting form. Made on a large curved obsidian flake. This piece is very ergonomic and fits the hand well. Base was thinned and flaked to an angle to rest the palm and a finger platform was burin flaked along the top edge. Once you place the piece into your hand it makes sense. Great example of prehistoric ingenuity on this hand held knife. Made of high grade obsidian with ancient patina and mineralization. Measures 4 11/16" in length.
