Up for your consideration is this Natural authentic Columbia Plateau Large Paleo knife blade. Found near the present day Priest Rapids Dam, south of Vantage, WA. On state route 243 between Mattawa, WA. and the Venetia Bridge in South Central Washington State. Who found this artifacts is unknown? The material is Chert, the colors are brown to light brown. Found locally in the Saddle Mountains, only a few miles to the north and to the west and east. Grading on this Blade is grade 9.0. Has two flat spots on both sides, ding on the point tip, or other broken parts. Very nice Paleo knife blade. We are Calling this a Cougar Mountain Cave type of point. Paleo man was mobile and move with the herds of large animals.
The Age and type of point by using professional standards is from the Professional classifications of about 200 before present, (BP). Age is about 200 years to 9,500 BP. Columbia River.
