This is quality Owl Creek Chert on this Comanche County Darl. It has a needle tip and serrations on both lateral edges. Magnification shows heavily used blade edges that are steeply beveled. It is not on the Rogers paper, but I purchased this from Ted Dunnigan about 20 years ago and I just know he told me it was a personal find. I have the shipping.

Owl Creek was the area where several Indian attacks took place against encroaching settlers. One was in 1857 when Comanches made a raid on Owl Creek and caught two men, one named Brown, the other Pierce, and a young boy named Dave Elms, while they were cutting wood. The two men were killed and scalped the boy was severely beaten, but allowed to escape. The boy's family continued to live in the area until the homestead was purchased by the Fort Hood Base.
