A Spencer County, Indiana, Big Sandy made from our Indiana Hornstone,2&1/4" by 1&1/8", strong basal edge grinding and pressure flaking, two definite signs of Early Archaic workmanship. Due to the way the flake blade was shaped the finished point has a dish-in towards the tip on the reverse side--otherwise very symmetrical, and displays nicely. The only damage is a slight wear on the very tip, the piece/ knife probably having more of a needle tip originally. Patiantion is excellent, lifetime guaranteed authentic in all details. Shipping comes with the $53 price, and payment to be by either check or M.O.--Roy A.
