My friend Roger says, "I would say that, stylistically, Jack’s very nice serrated arrowhead is Capsian tradition. That would mean it could be as old as about 9,000 BC (ie up to 11,000 years old). Equally, it could be as late as about 2,000 BC (ie 4,000 years old)."
I have ordered a book on line, " Flint Artifacts of North Africa by Dave Greenwell" to help me learn about the African material I am seeing in the market. If you have any African lithic please send me a picture for my file.
